OVERVIEW
This restaurant branding project came as a referral from our sister architecture company that was handling the restaurant's remodel. We met with the owner to get a feel for his vision for the new restaurant and he contracted us to handle the majority of the branding for this new venture.
LOGO DESIGN
As with every branding project that we undertake, the name and the look of the logo becomes the basis of everything else that we design. The owner had chosen the name "Quicky" for this custom pizza restaurant due to the fact that they cook their pizzas quickly in a huge wood-burning oven. We wanted to ensure that this aspect was emphasized in the final logo design.
THE LOGO
We designed the logo by creating three separate custom fonts. It also included a flame on the "i" to emphasize the wood burning aspect of the restaurant. These distinct customizations help create a memorability factor to the logo that default fonts could not inherently create. The yellow/orange and white colors, in addition to a dark grey, would become the base color scheme for the rest of our designs.
GRAPHIC DESIGN ELEMENTS
In addition to logo design, we also produced many of the graphic design elements within the restaurant. We created designs for the menu, interior graphics, interior signage, exterior signage, t-shirts, and pizza boxes.
3D DESIGN
Because we were proposing so many graphics and signs throughout the restaurant, the owner wanted to see how they would all work together. To help him visualize it, we created multiple 3D images from different viewpoints in the restaurant so that he could get a good understanding of how everything would work before he approved everything for production.
Photography
Once the restaurant was ready to be opened to the public, we went through and took architectural photos of the different details for their in-house team to use in their marketing efforts.
